Award ceremony

Stationers’ Hall was the venue for the awards ceremony for the People’s Book Prize. Tatiana Von Saxe Wilson, a Liveryman and Prize Administrator, runs this annual event at which prizes are awarded according to votes cast by members of the public.The photo above shows in the front row from left to right: Tatiana Von Saxe Wilson, David Cohen (winner of the special achievement award for “London Calling”), Daphne Fong (winner of the Beryl Bainbridge Award for First Time Author for “Revenge Of The Thirteen”), Frederick Forsyth CBE (patron of The People’s Book Prize), Valerie Thornhill (winner in the Fiction Category for “In Restoration”), Helen Donlon representing author Johan Bakker winner of the Non Fiction Category for “Behind The Rainbow”). In the back row we can see from left to right: Andrew Eborn and Tony Humphreys both of The People’s Book Prize Limited, and Giles Paley-Phillips (winner in the Children’s category for “The Fearsome Beastie” ).
